Application Guide 1. Application Time

A. The admission application for Degree program opens twice per year, in spring and autumn (BDS program has only autumn intake). Time is as follows:

• autumn (semester begins in September or October) From March 1st to July 5th
• spring (semester begins in March ) From September 1st to January 5th

The admission application for non-degree program can be accepted anytime, but for language course or pre-medical courses, the course can start only when the number reach 15 at least.

2. The criteria for applying MBBS or BDS program

The applicant should be between 18-25 years old,mental and physical healthy, has completed the senior high school course with good marks, satisfied with the following marks requirement, has solid financial support to afford the study and living expenses in China. Chemistry, physics, biology, English are compulsory subjects, maths is a reference subject for admission evaluation.

3. Application documents for Dalian Medical University admission:

Different programs need different documents.

• MBBS, BDS and other undergraduate programs: information pages of passport, photo, senior high school transcript are compulsory, high school diploma or other certificate will be helpful for your admission.
• Master programs: information pages of passport, photo, bachelor degree, college transcript, two recommendation letters from professors, study plan are compulsory, the medical council registration paper, working experience certificate will be helpful for your admission.
• Ph.D programs: information pages of passport, photo, master degree, college transcript, two recommendation letters from professors, study plan are compulsory, the medical council registration paper, working experience certificate will be helpful for your admission.
